Brigantia promotes Angus Shaw to Sales Director

Brigantia, a value-added distributor of cybersecurity services, has, as of 1st July, promoted Angus Shaw to sales director.

In 2016, Shaw was a key member of the Brigantia management buyout team and, since then, he has built and led a sales team that has year-on-year continued to grow the company’s recurring revenues. His promotion comes ahead of Brigantia launching its plans for its second five years of growth, which will see Shaw’s sales team continue to expand in size, to ensure the company can meet its
ambitious growth targets.

Also, taking on new responsibilities, as they become team leaders, are Chloe Schofield and Tom Newby. Schofield will lead the account management team and Newby the new business development team.

Shaw said of his promotion: “We intend to build a £20 million annual recurring revenue business, over the next five years, and we have an excellent foundation of core vendors combined with a young and ambitious team, both of which will enable us to deliver on our goals. We are incredibly focused and believe our business model can scale for the benefit of both ourselves and our well-established community of resellers, MSPs, MSSPs. We will stick firmly to our layered approach across cybersecurity, secure communications, voice, compliance, and security awareness training. We have a number of exciting new vendors coming online and many innovations to roll out over the coming year and beyond”

Martin Wright, Brigantia managing director, added: “It is good to be able to train and develop young talent and to then promote from within our growing business. Although Angus has put his name against a very ambitious growth and profit target, over the next five years, I have every faith that, with the support of the highly committed Brigantia staff, shareholders and board, it is totally achievable. Angus’s sales team will be ably supported by our Product Marketing Team, led by Rob Hall who brings his wealth of experience to this area. Also, vital to company’s ongoing growth, is our Operations Team, led by Vicky James, who will make sure that the controls we have built to date are maintained and developed in order to support the business as it continues to
scale up.”
