Target Components has completed a distribution deal with memory and gaming peripherals manufacturer Patriot.
Target will now be responsible for distributing Patriot’s full range of memory including laptop, desktop and gaming DRAM, SSDs including the latest NVME M.2 drives, and Patriot’s new Viper gaming peripherals.
Martin Wood, Patriot’s UK Sales manager said that the partnership was a ‘fantastic opportunity. He said: “We’ve a fantastic opportunity here in the UK – a discerning market where quality, performance and reliability are expected rather than simply aspired to. Patriot’s 33-year pedigree is testament to our dedication to all these qualities. And we will have continued this vision throughout our new Viper range of memory and peripherals.”
He added: “Partnering with Target enables us to address a broad range of customers to increase our market share while offering excellent price and availability and – crucially – margin for resellers.”
Martyn Kirby, Target’s head of Purchasing, is equally excited by the deal. He said: “This is a very exciting partnership – Patriot is well-known worldwide with a great offering at great prices. Product reviews consistently talk about Patriot’s reliability and performance being comparable to other Tier 1 brands despite being much more affordable.
