Westcoast appoints new head of Services

Westcoast has appointed Craig Waters as its new head of Services. The distie has added Waters to its ranks in order to boost service offerings. Waters joins Westcoast from the Misco after the company went into administration. Before that he spent more than 16 years at Ingram Micro taking on both UK and European roles and leading the Channel for Fujitsu and Belkin.

Alex Tatham, managing director at Westcoast, said: “What a thrill to have such an industry superstar on board. Craig’s appointment is a real coup for us and he will add a huge slice of zest, drive and heavy-hitting channel experience to our services offering.”

He added: “Services present a myriad of opportunities for distribution – from configuration and PDI, to finance, device as a service, training and cloud. Craig’s role will be to articulate the value of our pioneering services portfolio and to demonstrate why Westcoast is perfectly placed to execute these services on behalf of a reseller. From managed print companies to VARs, from retailers to system integrators – all are asking Westcoast to help cut the cost of their supply chain and improve their service to their customers. Well, that’s exactly what we do.”

Waters added: “It’s wonderful to be in distribution again and to be working for the absolute best distributor in the UK and Ireland. I look forward to expanding the already extensive range of services that Westcoast offers to vendors and customers and to helping Westcoast’s remarkable growth continue.”
