Printer manufacturer Brother UK launches new business inkjet range

Brother UK will introduce two business inkjet printers in a bid to help partners capitalise on market growth within their channel. The new ranges will include six new models that will target mainly small-to-medium-sized businesses (SMBs) and small office/home office (SOHO) end users.

The J5000 series will include small A4-sized machines that are capable of A3 colour printing. The J6000 line will consist of A3 models capable of colour A3 printing and scanning. The information and communications technology (ICT) provider also hopes the new models will help SMBs increase their printing efficiency in as little as six seconds.

Other features of Brother UK’s latest inkjet line will include built-in cloud and mobile connectivity options, along with the vendor’s iPrint & Scan app.

Brother UK expects this new line of printers will cement its position in the A3 business inkjet market: “We see real opportunities for partners in the business inkjet market – its growth in the past year is a sign of things to come,” Andy Johnson, head of product management at the company said.

“Feedback from SMBs tells us they’re looking for cost-effective machines which they can trust to deliver, and that also work seamlessly in modern office environments. Machines need to be quick to support fast-paced working cultures and offer a range of connectivity options to integrate with different devices.”

With many SMBs and SOHO customers constantly looking to save across their IT budget, Johnson said he feels positive these printers will meet consumer expectations: “We updated the existing J5000 and J6000 series with new features such as higher yield supplies – the result being a refreshed range with better running costs. We’re confident that these inkjets are the best out there to help partners meet the needs of SMB and SOHO end-users.”
