Crucial has announced the availability of DDR4 2400MT/s 8Gb-based RDIMM, LRDIMM and ECC UDIMM server modules. Engineered to enable higher density modules, 8Gb-based DDR4 enables increased performance, bandwidth and energy efficiency. The modules are available for immediate purchase through select global channel partners and at http://uk.crucial.com.
Asus Republic of Gamers G752
The Asus Republic of Gamers (ROG) G752 is now available in the UK. The gaming laptop is powered by a 6th-generation Intel Core i7 (‘Skylake’) processor and up to NVIDIA GeForce GTX 980M discrete graphics.
The ROG G752 has an aggressive design and sports the new ROG Armor Titanium and Plasma Copper colour scheme. It features the ROG-exclusive mobile 3D Vapour Chamber thermal system for more efficient cooling and increased stability, along with a backlit anti-ghosting gaming keyboard with 30-key rollover for precise input. It can be upgraded to up to 64GB DDR4 RAM and is now available to purchase in the UK from Scan, Overclockers, Dabs and Amazon.
Jukedeck MAKE artificially intelligent music composer
London-based tech startup Jukedeck has launched its first product. Jukedeck MAKE is a site for video creators to make unique, tailored music for their videos. Users can go to www.jukedeck.com, choose a style of music, and are presented with a completely unique soundtrack. They can even choose how long the track is, so that it’s just the right length for their video.
Reward Technology loyalty and security card system
Software AG today announced it is bringing its Internet of Things (IoT) capabilities to a new partnership with Reward Technology, the visionary UK company behind ground-breaking loyalty and security card systems, to transform a number of sectors, including the retail industry.
Reward Technology will deploy its innovative RFID connectivity technology in combination with Software AG’s powerful location analytics. This solution enables retailers to gain valuable information about their customers such as where they spend the most time in-store and how often they visit, as well as key data about their purchasing and web-browsing history.
Trust Apple Watch accessories
Trust Urban has introduced its new Apple Watch accessories. The collection consists of nylon wristbands, two types of protective cases, a screen protector, a charging stand and an air vent car holder. All accessories are available for both the 38 mm and the 42 mm Apple watch.
StarTech.com docking stations
StarTech.com has announced the release of a new family of docking stations. The new Essential range is created with hot-desking, home-office and BYOD (Bring Your Own Device) office environments in mind. The docking stations include three SKUs with different display options: USB3VDOCK4DP (4K DisplayPort), USB3VDOCKD (DVI), and USB3VDOCKH (HDMI).

Yoyotech’s new Warbird RS10 machine comes with a Quad-core 4.4GHz Intel Core i5-6600K processor, 8GB RAM, 2x USB3, 6x USB3, 1TB hard disk, 2GB Nvidia GeForce GTX 960, and Windows 10. It has a RRP of £700 (including a 22-inch iiyama monitor).
Corsair inverted ATX case and Hypder Series HS SF liquid CPU cooler
Corsair has announced the release of the new Corsair Carbide 600Q and Carbide 600C high-performance PC cases. Pricing starts at $149.99. The firm has also unveiled its first low-profile liquid CPU cooler, the Hydro Series H5 SF, bringing the quiet and efficient benefits of liquid cooling to the smallest of PCs. The H5 SF has an RRP of $79.99.
Cisco Spark collaboration service
Cisco Spark is a collaboration service that allows messaging, meeting, and calling capabilities via the cloud to businesses across the globe. In addition, the Spark app ties into Cisco Spark (the service) providing phones and video conferencing systems in any location.
Brother’s smallest A4 portable thermal printer
Brother UK has launched the smallest, most technologically advanced A4/A5 mobile thermal printer on the market today. Its new PJ-700 range incorporates six models which have been designed for key markets that require fast and reliable printing while on the move. The business is targeting a broad customer base including emergency services, community healthcare, pest management and veterinary practices.
