Microsoft has introduced a new Enterprise Mobility Management competency.
Available from October, the new cloud competencies and certifications will be added to Microsoft’s four other cloud-focused accreditations.
Cloud certification and assessment requirements will be changing as part of the latest round of adjustments designed to take Microsoft and its partners more towards the cloud.
Microsoft partners must now achieve 2,000 active entitlements to reach Silver level and 4,000 to reach Gold across any Office 365 workload for the Cloud Productivity competency.
To achieve the Silver level for the Small and Mid-market Cloud Solutions badge, they must have sold 40 seats and acquired four new customers in the last year. For Gold, 250 seats must be sold and 25 new customers acquired.
The Cloud Platform accreditation has also seen some changes. To achieve Silver, partners must have now made $15,000 in Azure Consumption fees in the last year. For Gold, that now rises to $100,000.
With the Cloud CRM competency, partners must have assigned 150 seats in the last year to reach Silver, and 450 seats to reach Gold.
The firm has also revealed that another Windows and Devices competency is planned for later in the year.
