Kroll Ontrack has launched a dedicated partner resource centre for Apple channel partners.
The portal features detailed information about the products and services that Kroll Ontrack provides for channel partners to offer customers, including Ontrack EasyRecovery software and secure erasure. Partners can either use the products and services to recover or erase data on behalf of clients, or resell software to customers direct.
As the numbers of employees choosing iPhones and iPads as their preferred device to access corporate systems continues to grow, so does the risk to both personal and corporate data. Many organisations are unaware that just returning a phone to factory settings or deleting data manually will not erase information completely.
Kroll Ontrack works with Apple to deliver comprehensive data recovery solutions for iOS devices, iMacs, MacBooks and Mac Pros. It has developed a proprietary toolset to recover data from Apple mobile devices, whether they are damaged by water or have cracked screens, or have suffered from logical damage such as a failed iOS upgrade. The latest version of the toolset covers the iPhone 6 and iPad Air.
