Acer 4K G-Sync monitor goes on sale in UK

Acer’s first 4K2K gaming display with Nvidia G-Sync technology is now available in the UK.

The 28-inch LED backlit display features 4K2K Ultra HD with 3840×2160 pixels, giving it four times the resolution of 1080p Full HD.

Plus, Nvidia’s G-Sync technology is included, which helps to provide smoother and tear-free imagery.

As well as this, flicker-less technology has been used which helps to reduce eye strain for users while playing.

Users can also adjust the light to as low as 15 per cent via low dimming technology while the ComfyView technology helps to reduce reflection from other light sources.

It also features 170/170 degree viewing angles and can be tilted from –five to 35 degrees.

The gaming monitor is currently available from Overclockers for £539.99.

Acer showed off the monitor at a showcase last week, where it also presented an Acer gaming projector.

G-Sync is a fast-growing display tech from Nvidia, which slammed AMD after AMD said its own FreeSync gaming monitors would be cheaper than Nvidia’s G-Sync screens

The first AMD FreeSync monitors will arrive from Samsung in early 2015.

Other vendors have also unveiled Nvidia G-Sync monitors including AOC, which features a 24-inch display.
