Epson and Sony to form joint LCD operation

Seiko Epson and Sony are to form a join initiative for the creation of LCD products.

Final and legally binding documents are expected to be signed by the end of June, ands it has been announced that the new business will focus on small and medium sized LCD products.

The alliance will involve a level of technology sharing and collaboration not often seen by, what are essentially, large corporate rivals.
