Following a strong set of results for the last quarter, Dell has said that sales outside the US are growing significantly faster than those in its home territory for the first time, and that trend could increase in the future.
Much of the success of the last quarter’s financials, which were higher than expected at 73 per cent growth in PCs, were attributed to overseas sales as well as other ‘cost cutting.’ Sales in Brazil, India and China were particularly high during the period.
Specifically, Dell president of Asia-Pacific and Japan Steve Felice said that two-thirds of the vendor’s sales could come from outside the US in five years.
