Distributor to sell networking products in key Asian territory

INDIA: Ingram Micro strikes Netgear deal

The Indian arms of distributor Ingram Micro and networking manufacturer Netgear have entered into a deal that will see the former sell the latter’s wares across the territory, ChannelTimes.com reports.

Kerman Rana, the MD of Netgear Central APAC stated: "This tie-up is in view of expansion plans and new company focus on system integrators. This will also help us to ramp up our sales to include more SIs in our fold as we intend to start a SI recognition program."

Ingram Micro India MD K Jaishankar added: "Netgear is a respected vendor in this category and complements our portfolio very well. Our channel partners across the country will see this as a positive addition to Ingram portfolio, which will enable them to effectively address their customer requirements."
