Director of content Darryl Still heading to Russian publisher 1C.

Still to leave Nvidia this month

After five years in the position of director of content at PC graphics firm Nvidia, Darryl Still is set to leave the company later this month to take up the role of marketing director at Russian publisher 1C.

“I’m leaving Nvidia on the best possible terms,” Still told PC Retail sister site MCV. “Throughout my time here I’ve helped get the group started in Europe and overseen the successful The Way It’s Meant To Be Played campaign. Now the natural point has come for me to make a break.

“It’s a new challenge with an ambitious company. 1C is currently the number one publisher in Russia, and is very focused on expanding into the UK market. It aims to become one of the top ten publishers in the world.”

In his Nvidia blog, vice president of developer relations Rob Taylor stated: “It is with great sadness that I have to report that Darryl Still is leaving Nvidia to be able to have more time to take care of his wife and family.

“Darryl is one of the stalwarts of the gaming industry in Europe and is deservedly popular with friend and foe alike. He will be sadly missed but he leaves on the best of terms and we will remain good friends.”
