Fujifilm Device Technology has appointed Burke Systems & Solutions as its latest office print partner, expanding the availability of the Apeos multifunction printer range across Northern Ireland.
The Belfast-based provider – which marks its 50th anniversary this year – will add Fujifilm’s Apeos MFPs to its managed print portfolio, offering models from the C2060 through to the C7070, and from October the new Apeos C3567 and C3061 devices. Burke Systems plans to introduce the range to customers in education, healthcare, the public sector, legal and financial services, construction and other industries.
Founded in 1976 as Burke Office & Data Supplies, the company has evolved from supplying and repairing typewriters to delivering managed print and document management services. Managing Director Michael Burke said the business had been monitoring Fujifilm’s growth in the UK office print market before deciding to partner.
Burke highlighted print quality, device robustness, ease of use and integration with existing customer systems – including software such as PaperCut – as key requirements. He added that Fujifilm’s sales and technical support, alongside the breadth of the Apeos range, were central to the decision.
Burke Systems’ service model centres on long-term customer support, providing a single local point of contact throughout the life of the equipment. The company expects the Apeos range to offer customers improved output quality, greater reliability and uptime, faster document workflows and reduced support needs, while also supporting security and sustainability goals.
The partnership aligns with Burke Systems’ plans to grow its managed print offering across Northern Ireland, Ireland and Great Britain. The company was recently awarded a place on the Northern Ireland Education Authority’s managed print tender and is the only supplier on the framework offering Fujifilm devices.
Gary Organ, Head of Device Technology at Fujifilm in the UK, said the agreement brings an experienced local partner into Fujifilm’s UK office print channel, noting Burke Systems’ long-standing customer relationships and knowledge of the Northern Ireland market.
