Bitdefender enhances channel programme for resellers and MSPs

Bitdefender has strengthened its Partner Advantage Network by introducing several enhancements to its Partner Advantage Network, Reselling Channel Partner programme and Managed Service Provider (MSP) Partner programme. These updates are designed to optimise revenue potential, simplify engagement, and reinforce support within the partner ecosystem. The programme now includes a new Platinum tier for high-performing partners, an expanded Not-for-Resale (NFR) programme offering Managed Detection and Response (MDR) access for Managed Service Providers (MSPs), and a streamlined deal registration process that reduces administrative overhead and accelerates sales cycles.

The Partner Advantage Network operates on a multi-tiered system that rewards partners based on their success and level of engagement. It is structured to support both product and service specialisation, enabling resellers and MSPs to align with their core strengths while gaining access to increasing benefits. All Bitdefender business security solutions are available within the programme, including endpoint protection, extended detection and response (XDR), cloud-native security, managed detection and response (MDR), and the newly launched GravityZone Proactive Hardening and Attack Surface Reduction (PHASR). PHASR dynamically adjusts security hardening settings according to individual user activity.

The introduction of the Platinum tier offers additional recognition and incentives for top-tier resellers and managed service providers (MSPs). Platinum partners gain priority access to business development resources, dedicated support, and joint go-to-market opportunities, allowing them to strengthen their position within the cybersecurity market. This level also enhances partner visibility within Bitdefender’s ecosystem.

Bitdefender’s expanded NFR programme now includes MDR access for MSPs, providing additional internal-use and demonstration capabilities. Partners can leverage the full suite of Bitdefender security solutions, including XDR, to deepen their technical expertise and showcase product capabilities in customer engagements. The NFR device allocation has also been adjusted to a tier-based model, ensuring equitable distribution of resources across partner levels.

The deal registration process has been streamlined to reduce complexity and improve efficiency. The updated workflow eliminates the requirement for detailed product configurations at the time of registration and removes the need for re-approval when deal components change. These refinements enable resellers and managed service providers (MSPs) to navigate the registration process with greater agility, thereby enhancing responsiveness and reducing delays.

Bitdefender continues to invest in resources that drive partner growth, offering competitive margins, joint marketing initiatives, and a centralised partner portal with deal visibility, lead generation tools, and access to sales materials. Comprehensive product training is also available to ensure partners remain informed about the latest developments in cybersecurity.

According to David Andrade, president at StoredTech, Bitdefender delivers not only advanced security solutions but also the necessary support to strengthen long-term customer relationships. “Bitdefender offers a broad range of advanced cybersecurity solutions for the most critical and in-demand areas, including endpoint protection, cloud security, managed detection and response (MDR), and attack surface reduction,” he said. “They are a trusted, capable partner in helping us protect our business customers against constantly evolving threats. What sets Bitdefender apart is not only their leading-edge technology and innovations, but also the high level of support that strengthens our ability to build and foster long-term client relationships.”

Andrei Florescu, president and general manager of Bitdefender Business Solutions Group, notes that the programme enhancements reflect direct input from the partner community: “Bitdefender continues to invest in building long-term value for reseller and MSP partners by delivering an easier, more profitable path to growth. Our programme enhancements reflect the voice of our partner community and reaffirm our commitment to recognising excellence, simplifying engagement, and accelerating success across the global channel.”

These enhancements have been designed to build on Bitdefender’s existing framework, creating additional opportunities for partners to generate revenue, enhance customer trust, and increase operational efficiency. The strengthened programme positions Bitdefender as a key cybersecurity partner, providing resellers and MSPs with access to leading-edge security solutions, streamlined processes, and extensive business support.
