Sophos has launched MSP Elevate, a programme designed to support managed service providers (MSPs) in expanding their cybersecurity offerings and driving business growth. The programme provides MSPs with access to exclusive security solutions, financial incentives, and training to strengthen their customers’ defences and streamline operations.
With cyber threats becoming more sophisticated, demand for Managed Detection and Response (MDR) services continues to rise, with 81% of MSPs currently offering MDR solutions, according to the Sophos MSP Perspectives 2024 report. MSP Elevate enables MSPs to differentiate themselves by delivering services which include an exclusive Sophos MDR Complete bundle, which incorporates 24/7 incident response, extended data retention, and advanced threat detection capabilities.
The programme also addresses operational challenges, offering Network-in-a-Box bundles that consolidate cybersecurity management within Sophos Central, reducing MSP overheads and freeing up resources for business expansion. Additionally, MSP Elevate provides discounts on Sophos Firewall, Sophos Switch, and Wireless Access Points, all of which integrate seamlessly to automate threat responses.
MSPs participating in the programme can access growth-based rebates, architect-level training courses, and invite-only Sophos Summits, where they engage with cybersecurity experts and Sophos leadership to shape future strategies. The initiative also supports MSPs facing a cybersecurity talent shortage by offering automated threat response solutions that reduce workload while enhancing defences.
Chris Bell, senior vice president of global channel, alliances, and corporate development at Sophos said: “As a channel-first organisation defending more than 250,000 MSP customers, we continuously seek ways to invest in and reward our partners. MSP Elevate equips MSPs with the tools, training, and financial incentives necessary to thrive.”
The programme is open to MSPs that commit to a minimum monthly spend for a 12-month period. To enrol, MSPs must first be part of MSP Flex, Sophos’ subscription-based programme that enables flexible monthly billing. With 88% of ransomware incidents occurring outside standard business hours, MSPs can choose to fully outsource MDR delivery through Sophos or integrate it into their in-house teams for out-of-hours security coverage.
