Lenovo appoints Per Overgaard as GM for ISG EMEA

Lenovo has appointed Per Overgaard as the new general manager for ISG EMEA, stepping up from his previous role as ISO CTO EMEA ISG. Overgaard held senior roles at IBM and HP before joining Lenovo in 2015 as part of the System X acquisition from IBM. He brings his deep knowledge of the IT ecosystem and his proven track record of building high-performing teams and scaling operations to the role.

Overgaard will take on leadership of the business at a pivotal time as organisations across the region are accelerating their investment in AI and advanced infrastructure. Under his leadership, the business will remain closely aligned with the evolving priorities of IT leaders in the region. With a continued customer-first approach, Overgaard will keep a strong focus on delivering practical solutions that address the needs of EMEA customers. Partner collaboration will remain central to Lenovo’s ability to provide value, scale, and flexibility to customers. Overgaard will oversee operations in a region that benefits from local manufacturing capabilities – most notably, Lenovo’s factory in Hungary. This facility enables solutions to be built in Europe, for Europe, contributing to both supply chain resilience and broader sustainability objectives.

Overgaard commented: “It has been a great privilege to work alongside so many talented colleagues and partners over the past decade at Lenovo, and I am honoured to be entrusted with leading the continued evolution of our ISG business across EMEA. This is a region full of opportunity, innovation, and diverse customer needs – and I’m excited to continue building strong relationships, driving sustainable growth, and delivering technology that truly makes a difference.”
