TD Synnex brings scalable and secure cloud storage with Wasabi

TD Synnex has formed a distribution agreement with Wasabi Technologies, the hot cloud storage company, to bring cost-effective, high-performance cloud storage solutions to more organisations across EMEA. The agreement gives partners access to the Wasabi’s scalable and secure cloud storage offerings alongside TD Synnex’s cloud expertise and advanced processes and platforms for aggregation and management of cloud services.

Wasabi’s solutions address a growing market demand for predictable and affordable cloud storage, while providing excellent protection from ransomware with the capability to store immutable copies of data and full redundancy. As well as its own services, TD Synnex will provide partners with access to the Wasabi partner portal and draw on existing alliances with leading data management and backup vendors to identify and drive additional growth opportunities. This partnership expands upon the existing Wasabi and TD Synnex agreement in the United States.

Anthony Greenhalgh, vice president, Hybrid Cloud, Europe, TD Synnex said: “Wasabi is a valuable and highly complementary addition that brings a new dimension to our extensive portfolio of cloud solutions. As more organisations adopt a hybrid approach, data security becomes even more important. With Wasabi, our partners can provide flexible capacity and trusted protection from ransomware to customers, while drawing on TD Synnex’s expertise in the cloud market and our extensive vendor portfolio to maximise their opportunities.

“We are especially excited about how we can bring multiple vendors together to offer a complete hybrid cloud backup solution. This is a great example of the breadth and depth that TD Synnex can provide, and how we can leverage our partnerships with leading data centre and cloud solutions to deliver hybrid value propositions that optimise the use of both cloud and on-premises options.”

Commenting on behalf of Wasabi, Jon Howes, vice president and general manager, EMEA, said: “This is a landmark alliance that significantly extends the reach of Wasabi into the channel community. TD Synnex has the resources and know-how to support partners in maximising the opportunities Wasabi cloud storage brings to provide customers with scalable capacity and protection against ransomware. We look forward to accelerating the adoption of Wasabi across TD Synnex’s extensive partner network.”

Wasabi provides simple and affordable cloud storage for businesses all over the world. It enables organisations to store and access an unlimited amount of data with no complex tiers, and no egress or API fees. Wasabi’s best-in-class cloud storage delivers industry-leading security and performance with predictable costs that help users to save money.
