Philips expands its gaming monitor range from new sub-brand Evnia

The gaming industry is at an all-time high, with people of all ages, in every country, enjoying the immersive thrill that the latest technological advances have made possible. Philips Evnia was launched in October 2022 with the intention of shaking up the gaming industry and bringing it in line with what gamers expect today. The brand’s
motto ‘Reinvent the Rules’ is a representative message about spreading inclusiveness in the gaming industry, and Philips Evnia bases its manifesto on creating an environment for everyone through its products. With the newest
release, the Philips Evnia 34M2C8600, it aims to do just that.

The 34′′ (86.36 cm) Philips Evnia 342M2C8600 has a display that focusses on giving its users an immersive experience thanks to its curved UltraWide display and crystal-clear imagery. With 175 Hz refresh rate and 0.1 ms GtG response time, the Evnia 34M2C8600 offers a gaming experience with lightning-fast action.

Along with Ambiglow, the Philips Evnia 34M2C8600 features Display HDR True Black 400 for inky blacks and a rich contrast, UltraWide QHD 3440 x 1440 resolution for crystal-clear imagery, and 0.1 ms response time for smooth gameplay. In addition, the new curved monitor is equipped with a USB-C port and a KVM switch
as well as a height-adjustable stand for a versatile, flexible, and rich usage in and out of the game.

The most notable feature of the new monitor is its QD OLED panel. This feature enables top-notch colouring and vibrant visuals through a merge of two technologies: organic light-emitting diode (OLED) panels and Quantum Dot (QD) technology.

Other new releases in the Evnia ranges include the Philips Evnia 25M2N3200W and the Philips Evnia 25M2N5200P which have ultra-fast refresh rates of 240 Hz (25M2N3200W) or 280 Hz (25M2N5200P).

Then there’s the 42′′ Philips Evnia 42M2N8900 with OLED panel and Ambiglow. This new monitor is
part of the Evnia 8000 series, the top-level category from Evnia. Key features include:

  • True 10-bit display for smoother colour gradients, OLED display for an impressive, rich contrast,
  • 138 Hz refresh rate to display fast-paced action smoothly,
  • 0.1 ms GtG response time for quick responsiveness,
  • DTS for enhanced sound, and UltraClear 4K UHD (3840×2160) resolution for precise
    imaging.

In addition, it has a thin bezel on 4-sides, 42” display size, a built-in KVM switch for managing two PCs easily, a USB-C port, and a height- adjustable ergonomic stand for an all-around user experience.

The Philips Evnia 42M2N8900 is available in stores now. Accessories built specifically to enhance the abilities of Evnia monitors be available after June 2023.

Finally, the Philips Evnia 27M2C5500W has everything players need for fast, smooth, visually stunning, and physically comfortable gaming sessions. In terms of smoothness, the model is equipped with AMD FreeSyncTM Premium Pro combined with a 240 Hz refresh rate, low input lag, and fast response times of 1 ms GtG and 0.5 ms MPRT.
