TD SYNNEX focuses investment on growth potential for partners with Nutanix HCI

TD SYNNEX (NYSE: SNX) has announced a series of investments aimed at enriching the experience of partners selling Nutanix DX hyperconverged infrastructure (HCI) solutions and exposing more partners to the huge potential of HCI.

According to a report from Fortune Business Insight, the global HCI market is forecast to grow at a CAGR of 24.9 percent and will reach $32.19 billion by 2028. TD SYNNEX is the sole UK distributor for the solution in the UK and it presents a truly exciting opportunity, said Matt Child, managing director – Advanced Solutions, UK and Ireland at TD SYNNEX.

“HCI has the power to massively escalate the productivity, efficiency and cost benefits of digital transformation. It is one of our big bets for 2023 and a huge opportunity for partners to add value for their enterprise customers by optimising and orchestrating all their resources across the public and private cloud and on-premises. The Nutanix DX solutions provide the best imaginable combination – one that dovetails perfectly with hybrid cloud platforms such as HPE GreenLake. It’s an ideal proposition for partners to take to market at this time, when enterprise customers are looking to take control of increasingly complex infrastructures.”

TD SYNNEX has put training, enablement and demand generation resources in place and is ready to on-board new partners that want to make Nutanix DX a key element of their digital transformation proposition. TD SYNNEX has the only Intel-powered, three-node Nutanix DX cluster – fully equipped with graphics processors – available for proof-of-technology testing. This unit can be loaned out to partners to accelerate opportunities.

Partners will also be kept up to date with Nutanix DX developments and given opportunities to attend webinars and events – including the renowned, partner-led Brewtanix community gatherings.

A dedicated business development manager has been appointed to support partners on new HCI opportunities. Jim Harvey brings more than two decades of experience to the role having spent over 15 years in sales at HPE and close to five years as enterprise business development manager in a partner business. He will be working closely with colleagues in the TD SYNNEX Advanced Solutions pre-sales and technical services teams to support both existing and new partners in advancing their Nutanix DX sales.

Initially, TD SYNNEX will be contacting partners individually to explore the business potential of Nutanix DX. Jim Harvey stated: “We are already engaged with a lot of enterprise partners, so we can quite easily identify those for whom Nutanix DX presents a good opportunity. There is a lot of interest in HCI and that’s something partners can and should capitalise upon. We’re ready to help them do that.”
