RiskSmart, a UK risk management start-up has announces it is Pending B Corp certification.
This is big news for the company as it is achieved through the merit of reaching environmental performance and accountability standards. After this the company will begin the rigorous process of full B Corp Certification, and demonstrates that the company measures and manages its social and environmental performance with the best tools available. It also shows strong governance as RiskSmart must adopt a legal framework to protect mission and brand equity.
Ryan Swann, Founder of RiskSmart, says: “Business shouldn’t just be about profit – it’s about people and planet, too. That much was already clear, and it’s only been hammered home by COP27.
