The devices feature print speeds of 28 images per minute (ipm), compared to 22ipm from the previous range, and boast a monthly duty cycle of up 2,500 pages, up from 1,500.

The models – the MFC-J5340DW, MFC-J5740DW, MFC-J6540DW and MFC-J6940DW – also feature automatic two-sided printing and optional A3 print and scan capabilities, which will provide people working from home with more flexibility to work with larger documents.

The new printers come with an enhanced Automatic Document Feeder (ADF) and improved paper trays that limit paper jams and downtime. Additional features include a 256MB memory, a 50-sheet ADF and up to two 250-page input trays, plus a 100-sheet paper output.
