OnBuy.com is currently celebrating its victory after being recognised in the Deloitte Tech Fast 50 Awards 2021 as the fastest growing tech business in the South West.
The South West region is reported to be one of the leading UK regions for technology businesses.
“The extraordinary growth of this year’s Fast 50 represents the remarkable tenacity of the UK’s technology industry. Deloitte’s 2021 Fast 50 awards are a clear demonstration of the wealth of talent, creativity, and entrepreneurship in the UK’s technology industry today.
“Achieving sustained revenue growth of 479% over four years is a tremendous accomplishment,” said Lizzie Hill, Fast 50 Lead partner for the South West region.
Accepting the award on behalf of the business was founder and CEO, Cas Paton, who was delighted with the prestigious ranking.
“We’re incredibly proud to take home the regional title and achieve a position in the Deloitte ranking,” commented Paton. “Our journey has seen fast-paced growth and lots of change over the past year, and winning this globally recognised award signifies just how far we have come in changing the face of eCommerce.”
The South West region of the UK was recently named as ‘The next Silicon Valley’, with it being home to some of the biggest tech firms in the UK. The likes of Nokia, Vodafone, Amazon, HP, Sony and BT all have operations based in the region.
“The South West has established itself as one of the leading UK regions for technology business and startups, so being named as the fastest growing tech business in this region makes the win even more significant for us,” Paton added.

The award win follows a highly successful award season for OnBuy, recently taking home the Business Leader Entrepreneur of the Year award and the PCR Online Retailer of the Year award last month, as well as being highly commended at the Barclays Entrepreneur of the Year award 2021.
