Dynabook Europe’s Satellite Pro C50-G series now includes an additional 15” model. Under the hood, the Intel processors are coupled with DDR4 memory give up to 16GB and fast SSD storage options up to 512GB deliver high levels of performance. With a 19.7mm form factor weighing just 1.8kg it offers up to 13.5-hour battery life. Its 15.6” anti-glare HD or FHD screen brings a big-screen experience while the large keyboard with numeric keypad and ClickPad provide comfort all day for improved user workflows. An optional SecurePad with fingerprint reader is also available. What’s more, the C50-G goes beyond a contemporary-looking design, having been treated with an anti-bacterial coating to limit the growth of potentially harmful bacterial by up to 99.9%2.

The device is equipped with WiFi 802.11 AC and Bluetooth capabilities. Despite its thin form factor, when it comes to peripheral connectivity, the device features a multi-functional USB Type-C port for charge, display, connect and transfer all in one, in addition to two further USB 3.1 Type A ports, a full-size HDMI port and Gigabit-LAN port. Furthermore, a Micro SD card slot accommodates additional storage needs.
With the current circumstances necessitating remote business and study, the C50-G delivers all the tools for staying connected with colleagues, customers and peers. The device features an HD Webcam, stereo speakers and in-built Cortana-enabled microphone. A mic/headphone slot or Bluetooth gives users the option to plug in or pair headphones.
With data security a major concern for many businesses and education establishments today, the C50-G features firmware-based Trusted Platform Module (fTPM) 2.0 so information is encrypted on the device and reduces the risk of data tampering. In conjunction with user and admin password capabilities which inhibit unauthorised access, the device acts as the first line of defence against increasingly sophisticated cybercriminals. An optional Kensington lock slot gives users the peace of mind that the C50-G will be exactly where they have left it.
The Satellite Pro C50-G will be available from March 2021.
