New SureFire gaming brand launched unveiling two new products

New gaming brand SureFire owned by Verbatim is launching its first products with the SureFire GX3 Gaming Hard Drive and the SureFire GX3 Gaming SSD. But you can expect to see much more from the new brand with  20 other gaming products planned to launch before the end of the year.

“With more people staying at home, there has been a big surge in gaming over recent months. Gaming has the great benefit of allowing friends to play on-line together and continue to have enjoyable, shared experiences,” said Clive Alberts, president, Verbatim GmbH.

“SureFire is purpose-built for gamers – all the products that we will be introducing later this year and throughout 2021 will all be built to last, easy to use and great value for money to appeal to the wide range of gamers across Europe of all ages and abilities,” added Alberts. “The first products we are launching are our external hard drives and SSDs, and these will soon be followed by gaming mice, headsets, hubs, and other products that have been specially designed for high performance gaming.”

Extended gaming storage
The new SureFire External Gaming SSDs and Hard Drives provide purpose-built extended storage for gamers looking to save their gaming library in a convenient, high capacity, on-the-go device.

With the 2TB Surefire Gaming Hard Drive capable of storing up to 50+ games, players no longer have to decide which games to delete from their console or PC in order to make room for new titles – they can keep them all safely on the SureFire drive as well as take them to a friend’s house to play there.

Both new ranges are plug-and-play which allows players to get up and running in minutes, and being compact in size with no power cable, it makes them highly convenient for the living room or to easily take to another location to play there. Alternatively, the drive can be used as a regular external storage device if not needed for gaming.

The SureFire drives feature multi-colour RGB changing LED accent lights and come pre-installed with Nero Backup software for full system backup and restore functionality, which allows users to schedule automatic backups.

With USB Superspeed 5Gbps data transmission (USB 3.2 Gen1) for fast game loading and backup, the SureFire HDD and SSD devices include a Micro-B to USB-A cable and a USB-A to USB-C adapter which enables Mac and PC owners to benefit from improved connectivity to USB-C and USB-A ports.
