ADATA Technology has announced the launch of the ADATA SC685 external solid state drive (SSD), featuring a compact and slim form factor.
The SC685 weighs only 35g and is as thin as a smartphone, measuring only 9.5mm in thickness. Its slim card-like form factor slips easily into back pockets or bags for hassle-free mobility. Despite its portable form factor, the SC685 is up to 6.6 times faster than your typical external hard drive. With this performance, users can transfer a 10GB 4K movie in just 20 seconds.
The SC685 comes with 250GB, 500GB, 1TB, or 2TB capacities, and utilises a USB-C connector, which is reversible.
Users can plug n’ play with Windows, Mac OS, and Android, and move content seamlessly between devices without limitations. It can also be used with game consoles for speeding up loading times.
