Rob Hall joins Brigantia as Product Marketing Manager

Brigantia Partners bolsters team after strong H1 sales growth

Ripon-based cyber security distribution business Brigantia Partners has reported a strong first half year growth driven by technology channel demand for its email, end point and security awareness services. This demand is the result of the growing number of businesses suffering phishing and other forms of cyber related attacks. Adding £1.02 million annual recurring revenue in H1, Brigantia is well on course to deliver its full year target.

The company recently signed new distribution agreements with Cheltenham-based cloud SIEM solution and SOC provider Invinsec and Dutch firm Compliance Technology Solutions BV for their GDPR356 service.

As the business grows, so does its headcount. The latest appointment comes in the form of Rob Hall, who joins as product marketing manager.

The vendor product team is further strengthened by the recruitment of Jack Case, formerly at Heimdal Security, as product expert for new Brigantia vendor partner Invinsec. Jack Poulter and Henry Chaw also join the team with responsibility for Heimdal Security and GDPR365 respectively.

Brigantia has also announced promotions for graduate sales executives Chole Schofield and Tom Newby, who move into business development executive roles within the sales team.

“The next couple of years at Brigantia will see a period of sustained sales growth as we work hard to grow business for our portfolio of next generation cyber security vendors’ services. We are currently recruiting three new graduate trainee sales executives to join us in October and we will then repeat the process for March next year,’ commented Iain Shaw, commercial director of Brigantia.

Vicky James, operations controller, added: “When we completed the management buyout of the Brigantia brand in January 2016 there was just four of us and a plan to build a new Brigantia business and to do something exciting around cyber security. We have a growing and highly enthusiastic team who are delivering that business plan. We now trade with nearly nine hundred channel reseller, managed service provider, managed security service provider and consultant partners across the UK and the Republic of Ireland each month and our lead generation team are engaged with another fifteen hundred potential partners.

“Last year we ran our second annual premier partners dinner and partners day at Twickenham Stadium and this year we are using Tower Bridge for our dinner and London’s Living Room at the top of City Hall for the partner day.”
