Exertis adds fashion technology brand VQ to its portfolio

B2B tech distributor Exertis has announced the exclusive distribution of the VQ range of charging solutions, power banks and phone cases.

VQ is a unique British brand renowned for its premium technology and designer partnerships. Its range includes DAB radios, Bluetooth speakers and now mobile phone accessories.

VQ works with numerous UK designer brands such as Emma Bridgewater, Laura Ashley and Lulu Guinness.

“We are delighted to be offering a new range of innovative design-orientated accessory products for our customers. Fashion combined with technology is increasingly becoming popular as style, colour and design become an important consideration in buying a mobile accessory,” said Matthew Balcombe, Exertis’ commercial director.

“VQ is a great example of a brand that has embraced that philosophy and their products resonate with a broad demographic of design conscious consumers. These new products strengthen our range in this area and present an exciting opportunity for our retailers to take advantage of a growing market.”

Exertis takes on the Coco and Coco Lite vanity accessory cases, which combine dual compact mirrors with a universal power bank.

In addition, it will offer VQ’s universal 5,000mAh power bank with dual outputs and fast charging technology along with a range of designer mobile phone cases.

Paul Cooke, VQ, brand manager, added: “VQ is delighted to be partnering with Exertis to extend our unique products into a wider network of on-line and retail outlets. We provide a range of must-have accessories that enable our discerning customers to keep their devices fully powered, protected and utilised.”

Exertis has also announced the distribution of vacuum cleaners and microwaves from household appliances brand Hoover.

Harriet Croft, Exertis, general manager, core electricals said: “This is an exciting opportunity for Exertis to work with one of the most iconic brands in the domestic, electricals market as we broaden our portfolio to existing retailers and engage with new customers in this market. Hoover needs no introduction and is widely acclaimed for its innovation and design. We are looking forward to servicing customers as we lead up to peak demand.”

Exertis announced, earlier this year, its intention to distribute a wide range of core electrical products with both established and emerging vendors and to build a high-quality portfolio for customers who can take advantage of the efficiencies, expertise and retail services provided by its dedicated Consumer Business Unit.

Bobby Watkins, sales and marketing director for SDA, Hoover Candy, said: “We are pleased to be one of the first brands to support the launch of Exertis into this market place. The company’s expertise in providing technology products to retail and its reputation with those customers were key reasons to engage, along with the opportunity to provide efficiencies in our supply chain.”
