Target named as UK distributor for AFox graphics cards

Target Components has been appointed as the UK distributor for AFox.

The new deal will see Target stock AFox’s entire portfolio of retail boxed Nvidia graphics cards.

Originally Foxconn’s branded graphics division, AFox became independent of the company in 2008. Its reputation has since been built on producing state-of-the-art graphics cards for major systems integrators and builders.

With over 20 years of in-house engineering experience, the company invests heavily in its own Research & Development to produce consumer graphics solutions.

“We’re delighted to have AFox on board at Target. Not only are they a highly-regarded manufacturer with a 20-year pedigree but their graphics cards are excellent – well spec’d, attractively packaged and reliable but at price points considerably lower than other brands,” said Martyn Kirby, Target’s head of purchasing.

“And we are already seeing a lot of positive comment from our customers – they’re now able to offer Nvidia graphics cards that provide the reliability and performance end users expect, but the resellers themselves make decent margins in the process.”

AFox’s global sales representative, Cathy Cai, added: “Target’s ability to address all types of reseller, whether an etailer, VAR, system builder or independent retailer, is extremely exciting.

“We are aware of price sensitivity in the UK channel and understand resellers need to be able to offer products that are reliable and perform well but with the ability to make money at the same time – AFox graphics cards do all of that, and Target is very well-placed to take the brand forward.”
