Exertis fires up Promethean sales team with trio of new hires

B2B, mobile and retail distributor Exertis has today announced three appointments in its specialist AV division, Exertis Medium, for its Promethean sales team.

Steve Shervington has been appointed Exertis Medium business development manager for Promethean, a leading manufacturer of interactive technology solutions for education. Shervington joins from Genee World, a manufacturer of audio visual ICT equipment. Prior to that he worked at Astel Distribution and the ILX Group in channel sales roles.

In addition, Exertis Medium has appointed two dedicated account managers: Leona Brown – who has worked for almost two years within the Exertis AV team prior to the acquisition of Medium – and Stephanie Grange who joins from outside the industry.

Ian Neale, Exertis Medium AV general manager, said: “Steve’s experience with channel partners and knowledge of the market will be a great addition to the team. He will be supported by Leona and Stephanie who will be dedicated to managing our resellers that have a Promethean opportunity, ensuring they can take full advantage of our superior stock-holding, next-day delivery, credit, logistical services and technical capabilities.”

These appointments follow on from Exertis being awarded the Promethean fulfilment distribution contract in May. Exertis says that it was awarded the country with the remit to ensure there is sufficient stocking capacity to enable resellers to take advantage of the continued growth in the IFPD market and to equip them with the fundamentals to achieve sales success.
