Leading Ingram Micro’s mobility sales division will be Matt Bramwell, who has worked in distribution and reseller sales roles in the mobility industry for many years, bringing a great deal of experience to the role. He will be driving Ingram Micro’s mobility business by building on key relationships with Microsoft, BlackBerry and Apple and enabling IT resellers to expand into the mobility space.

Taking responsibility for Ingram Micro’s commercial organisation will be Raj Pandya. As head of commercial management, he will be working with vendors in order to deliver new technologies and opportunities to channel partners.

A particular focus area will be growing Ingram Micro’s presence in the SMB market and increasing market share amongst key vendors. Pandya brings to the role 20 years’ of IT and AV experience earned throughout the technology channel.

These roles will report into Mike Farrah, senior director of sales and vendor management.

“These structural changes allow us to align our customer and vendor strategies to drive our business forward as well as forming a platform to promote and intertwine our extensive services and commerce propositions,” said Farrah.

Brent McCarty, VP & chief executive for Ingram Micro UK & Ireland, added: “We are very fortunate to have a strong leadership team with solid bench strength. Mike will do an outstanding job leading both sales and vendor management for our volume business, we are already seeing some of the benefit in aligning these roles under one leader.

“With the change we’ve created some great opportunities for Gemma, Raj and Matt who all have great experience running previous areas of our business and are eager to contribute further to Ingram and our partners. I am delighted to see our associates realising career progression and stepping up to additional responsibilities and am looking forward to their contributions. My congratulations to the team, well done”
