Galaxy S6 Edge Plus pictures leaked as Samsung unveils new Tab S2

A series of leaked images have been revealed, allegedly depicting Samsung’s Galaxy SG Edge Plus smartphone.

In the pictures, the device looks the same height as its predecessor, but reports suggest the screen size could be 5.7-inches wide, compared to the S6 Edge, which boasts a 5.1-inch display.

The images come from German news site All About Samsung, which compares the S6 Edge Plus with the Note 4.

Other rumours suggest that the phone will come with a 16MP rear-facing camera and a 5MP front-facing camera, as well as 32GB of storage.

In addition, Samsung has announced the launch of the Galaxy Tab S2 that comes in two display sizes, including 8-inches and 9.7-inches.

Both devices come with an 8MP rear-facing camera and a 2.1MP-front-facing camera, 32 or 64GB of internal memory, 3GB of RAM and an octa-core 1.9GHz or 1.3GHz processor.

One main difference between the two is the battery size, as the 9.7-inch variant comes with a 5,870mAh battery while the smaller 8-inch model features a 4,000mAh battery.

Pricing for both hasn’t yet been revealed, but they are expected to launch in August.

This news comes after Samsung rolled out its NFC payment service Samsung Pay in South Korea.
