Pro modders create unique designs based on the vendor's gaming desktops and notebook

Asus goes in search of the best custom Dream Gaming Machine

Asus Republic of Gamers has announced the launch of a new campaign, which pits PC modders against each other to build the best custom cases for gaming desktops and notebooks.

12 professional PC modders spent 12 gruelling hours making some unique builds in the hope that they will be picked as the best of the bunch.

The general public has been invited to vote through a global poll to decide which custom case is the best.

Voters are given an incentive to participate with a number of prizes up for grabs, plus bonus giveaways will be triggered with every 10,000 votes cast.

Bonus prizes include the ROG Gladius mouse and Whetstone mouse pad, awarded via a random draw.

Each case will be based on the ROG G20 and GR8 gaming desktops or the ROG G751 gaming notebook.

The builds that are voted best will be given the title ‘Dream Gaming Machine’ and the modder for the G20 desktops will be awarded the Asus VG248QE ultra-fast 144Hz gaming monitor, while the GR8 desktop modder will win a package including the 27-inch VG278HE ultra-fast 144Hz gaming monitor.

Voting opened yesterday, March 30th, and will close on April 27th.
