Further Sony Pictures secrets appear to have turned up online

‘Christmas gifts’ promised as Sony hackers release even more data

As more documents from Sony Pictures are leaked online, hackers have sent out a message promising a ‘pleasurable’ gift to the company.

The message, which announced the preparation of a ‘Christmas Gift,’ asked Sony to message an anonymous email address stating what they wanted in the gift of hacked files.

It continued: “The gift will be larger quantities of data. And it will be more interesting. The gift will surely give you much more pleasure and put Sony Pictures into the worst state.”

A number of links were included in the post, pointing to five websites containing BitTorrent tracker files. A number of these sites have now already been removed.

The hacks first began in late November, resulting in Sony Pictures sitting through two weeks of leaks of corporate data.

Released documents also included employee medical information, financial data, TV show contracts as well as the email inbox of two senior executives.
