Microsoft will be holding an event at its Redmond campus in January, during which execs will discuss what’s next for Windows 10.
The event will be broadcast via a live webcast on Wednesday January 21st and will also feature a talk from Microsoft’s CEO Satya Nadella.
Execs, which include senior leaders from the Operating Systems Group Terry Myerson, Joe Belfoire and Phil Spencer, will be talking about the new operating system and its consumer experience.
When asked on Twitter if we can expect to see some user interface footage of Windows 10 on Xbox One during the event, Spencer replied: "I’ll be focusing more on what we are doing on Windows 10 in January, it’s time for us to talk about gaming on Windows."
Windows 10 was unveiled back in September with many confused as to what happened to Windows 9. Alongside this, Microsoft also introduced the Windows Insider Program, and offered a live technical preview of the upcoming operating system.
A whopping one million people signed up to the preview in just two weeks, putting pressure on Microsoft to get it perfected as soon as possible.
There is plenty to look forward to within the new OS incuding a brand new notification centre as well as gesture controls.
