Lenovo’s TAB S8 is the firm’s first 8-inch Intel-powered Android tablet

IFA 2014: Lenovo announces 17-inch gaming laptop and Intel-powered tablet

Lenovo has unveiled a new gaming laptop and PC as well as an Intel-powered tablet at this year’s IFA tech trade show in Berlin.

The firm’s first 8-inch Intel-powered Android tablet, the TAB S8, has a starting price of $199 and comes with a 1920×1200 display.

It also features a 1.6MP HD front facing camera, 8MP rear camera, Intel Atom Z3745 processor, and comes with addition features like LTE and Wi-Fi.

It runs Android 4.4 KitKat and includes 2GB of RAM and 16GB of storage.

The tablet will be available from September.

As well as the TAB S8, Lenovo has introduced some new gaming machines.

The Y70 Touch is a 17-inch gaming laptop with a touchscreen that comes with an up to 4th generation Intel Core i7 processor and Nvidia GTX graphics.

Weighing under 7.5 pounds, the Y70 Touch has up to five hours of battery life and customisable memory and storage options, with up to 16GB DDR3L and 1TB of SSHD storage or 256GB SSD storage.

With a starting price of $1,299, the Y70 Touch will be available from October.

Finally, Lenovo has unveiled the ERAZER X315 – the latest addition to its line of gaming desktop PCs.

The ERAZER X315 features AMD Radeon R9 series graphics, a quad-core processor and up to 2TB of SSHD.

The PC also comes with 7.1 channel sound support, Dolby enhancements, 12GB of memory, and four USB 3.0 ports.

The Lenovo ERAZER X315 will be available in North America beginning in November 2014 with models starting at $599.
