BullGuard’s head of product management says the firm’s new software is so intelligent it can look after itself.
Alex Balan told PCR that BullGuard’s new Internet Security software has the ability to protect everyone and anyone right out of the box: “You may say that we achieved something quite unique with the release of our new Internet Security.
“We built a product that’s intelligent and able to protect everyone and anyone right out of the box, take decisions, optimise system performance and inspect for vulnerabilities without users having to ever open the interface other than to renew their licence once a year.”
The abundance of updates and scans security software offers can be a little overwhelming for some, causing users to put off important scans. BullGuard has tried to address this issue by having new one-click functions for all of Internet Security’s features.
“On one hand we say ‘all the options should be intuitive, the interface should be easy to use and not require technical expertise’. At the same time, we say ‘the user should never need to open the product interface. We should do absolutely everything and ensure the system’s health and security while the user carries on with his or her day-to-day tasks’,” said Balan.
As well as a brand new interface, the software also features a redesigned backup module and improved behavioural detection.
The new BullGuard Internet Security is available for £44.95 for up to three users, with free upgrades to new versions.
