Deal comes as website expects to hit 25 million visitors mark

NotebookRepair and Cambridge Laptop Repair combine

Notebookrepair.co.uk has agreed to purchase the assets of cambridgelaptoprepair.co.uk and nationallaptoprepair.co.uk.

The deal comes as the website expects to hit 25 million visitors, said John Landells, MD of the firm’s operating company Paun Computers Limited.

“This takeover now means that together we have the capability to repair over 1,000 notebooks, tablets and phones per month with capacity to further expand this with increased demand,” Landells added.

Landells went on to acknowledge the “expertise and technical and marketing skills” that Brett Mathews from Cambridge Laptop Repair will be bringing to the operating company, and stated that he looks forward to working closely with Matthews in order to “continue the success of the new enlarged business”.

“This is great news for Brigantia members as it brings together two long term member businesses in one giving our members access to one single source for notebook and mobile device repair services as well as a tremendous range of spare parts,” commented Iain Shaw, founder of channel membership group Brigantia.

“We wish John and Brett every success over the coming months, and intend to work closely [with them] as we roll out our new Field Nation work flow management program in the UK in Q1 2014 – as this will fit nicely with the work John and Brett are doing. We will be introducing various vendors that require UK spare parts holding centrally to support their resellers."
