Device will be world’s slimmest tablet

Lenovo Yoga tablet that can ‘stand itself up’ set for October launch

A device with a leg that it can use to stand itself up is going to be Lenovo’s latest tablet offering.

Engadget reports that the device will be called the Yoga tablet. Unlike the Yoga laptop series, the main selling points will be its ‘leg’ as well as the ability to shift its centre of gravity to make it feel lighter in hand.

Leaked specs also revealed that it would be the world’s slimmest tablet and will have the longest standby battery life.

Lenovo VP, Chen Xu Dong, reportedly confirmed the news on Sina Weibo – China’s equivalent of Twitter – saying the device will launch next month and “revolutionise” the tablet market.
