A look at the trade attending the Eurogamer Expo

Trade heads to Eurogamer

The Eurogamer Expo is getting underway in London, and many retailers and vendors will be there with their latest offerings.

Roccat makes its debut at the show, which will take place from today (September 26th) until Sunday (September 29th).

The competition gaming peripheral manufacturer will be showing off the recently-announced Kave XTD 5.1 digital gaming headset for the first time to UK gamers. The headset can be found in the booths of Alienware (booth F1/2) and Infernum (booth P5/7).

Also present is retailer Scan in booth S3/7, which will be showing off the award-winning 3XS systems. Gamers can go head to head against the UK’s top gaming clan Team Dignitas, or take part in other competitions and offers at the expo, including free copies of Battlefield 4.

Channel partner for the event is NVIDIA, which is bringing the ‘Shield’ Android gaming device for gamers to play on the expo’s show floor. The European release date of the Shield is currently unknown, so attendees are likely to be itching to try it.

The sponsor of the Gamesindustry Fair at the event is Microsoft, the corporate vice president of which, Phil Harrison, opened the event with a presentation on the upcoming Xbox One.

The retail partner is GAME, which will be offering deals to consumers throughout the expo.

Other retailers at the event include several gaming and tech-based clothing companies, such as Insert Coin, Retro GT, Top Thread, Hyper Mega Master and Level Up Wear, video hardware and software company Hauppauge, gaming, video and storage hardware firm Elgato, confectionary company Cybercandy and Manga UK.
