Stars on Clare Balding’s BT Sport show receive the cases

Harry Redknapp among sports star fans of TheSnugg tech cases

Harry Redknapp is a fan of trying to keep Snugg during the madness of deadline transfer day, it seems.

QPR manager Redknapp is among the sports star fans of TheSnugg.com, who are giving the tech case website a massive PR boost.

Redknapp joins former England cricket captain Michael Vaughan, London 2012 Olympic cycling gold medallist Victoria Pentleton MBE CBE and Welsh rugby union star Gareth Thomas among many other sporty celebrities who have been given the cases.

"The brand is selling well but we thought it would be good to raise its profile. What better way to do that than with sport stars?" said founder of TheSnugg.com, Fil Adams-Mercer.

TheSnugg’s iPhone and iPad cases are offered to guests on The Clare Balding Show, shown on BT Sport.

"BT Sport executives just love TheSnugg.com products," Adams-Mercer said.

The cases, which cost less than Apple’s official offerings, are made from polyurethane leather, which looks and smells like real leather but isn’t.

Founded in 2010 as the first independent manufacturer of iPad covers, TheSnugg.com has since expanded its product range to include cases for several other tablets and smartphones, as well as accessories including the Snugg Super Bright Bike Light and a two-in-one stylus that doubles as a pen, while becoming the largest online retailer selling iPhone and iPad covers.
