Show Guide: Evolution – The Future of Gaming & Technology

September is upon us. It’s time to order in stock for Christmas, and to educate yourself on what’s going to be big in the technology market for the year ahead.

What better way to do that than at a trade show where you can network with your counterparts, meet up with the experts, and find out what the big brands have on offer?

This is what VIP is aiming for with its inaugural Evolution: The Future of Gaming & Technology show.

“Friday September 7th is gearing up to be a fantastic day for the IT industry,” says Dave Stevinson, sales director, VIP. “The response from our vendors and the Channel has been positively overwhelming – clearly demonstrating that PC gaming is still very much alive. Evolution is about the future of technology and we’ll see some exciting and exclusive previews. It’s a unique opportunity to get to speak with vendors and grow your business with VIP Computers.”

Exhibitor spaces have sold out, but there are still limited delegate passes available – register for your place at www.evolution-expo.com.

Here’s a helpful reminder of what you can expect from the day itself.

Themed as ‘The Future of Gaming & Technology,’ the exhibition will take you on a time-travelling journey, where you can test your gaming skills on classics such as Pacman, Space Invaders and Star Wars, then take part in the latest ground breaking combat games – all demonstrating the latest technologies in action.

ON DISPLAY
VIP promises that there will be a whole host of exciting products on display from its extensive exhibitor list. There will also be opportunities to meet up with staff from across VIP’s departments, such as sales, IT and project management.

ASUS will be showcasing a new tablet that has not been released yet. What’s more, it will also be giving away one of its latest tablets to a lucky key holder who attends the firm’s breakout session.

NVIDIA will be hosting a gaming competition with one of its biggest state-of-the-art rigs, whilst Intel will be demonstrating ‘gesture control’ gaming on its stand – delegates will be able to play games remote control free.

And of course there will be lots to see from the likes of Antec, AOC, Edimax, Microsoft, MSI, Shuttle and Synology as well on the day.

AMD’s head of GPU and MPU sales for EMEA, Neil Spicer, comments: “We’re really excited to be exhibiting at VIP Computers’ Evolution event. The event gives us a great platform to demonstrate our latest technologies across our product portfolio, including the latest Radeon Graphics cards, A- Series APU’s and FX processors, as well as to meet face to face with our customers to nurture existing relationships and create new ones.”
