Microsoft will offer a preview of the software giant’s Windows OS for tablet computers this week, according to a Bloomberg report.
Citing three unnamed individuals with "knowledge of the company’s plans," Bloomberg said the company will use the Computex show in Taipei and the All Things D conference in Los Angeles.
The next-generation Windows, presumably Windows 8, will be shown off running on Nvidia hardware – likely the quad-core Tegra codenamed Kal-El.
However the operating system will still not arrive until next year, Bloomberg sources indicated, which will leave the field open for the expected deluge of Android-powered tablets.
