The device is a bit of a strange beast according to Engadget, in that it’s 2.5G-only and has no wi-fi, but it does come with a touchscreen, 3MP camera and microSD slot.
No details yet on when the Mini 3i will be available, but everything points to a China-only release at this stage.
The device will be one of several supporting China Mobile’s new Application Platform for mobile content services.
