The third variant of the Conficker virus is set to activate in infected machines on April 1st.
According to Computer World, this latest virus is the third in a series of modules that behaves more like a Trojan than a self-propagating Worm. It is an aggressive program that provides protection to infected machines from anti-virus and security software.
The worm generates masses of URLs to cover the tracks of the virus’ controller and to allow the controller to issue commands to infected machines.
