Taiwanese vendor, Elitegroup Computer Systems has said that it expects to ship 3.8 million notebooks during 2008, an increase of 26.67 per cent on 2007.
The figures were revealed to Digitimes by sources at the company. They also revealed to the site that the company is only expecting to ship 200,000 units of Intel’s Classmate sub-notebook thanks to weak demand.
