Sales have been put down to curiosity of the ‘unusual’ Linux operating system, which is dubbed Enlightenment- a cut down version of Ubuntu. The GUI, according to TheInquirer, is lighter than Gnome or KDE and faster than Vista.

The system has received excellent reviews and thus has been selling at rapid pace to those who only need a PC for the internet and OpenOffice.
