Labour councillor thinks "we're frying our children's brains."

Council wants school Wi-Fi banned

A north London council has recommended that Wi-Fi use we suspended in schools while a n "open and honest" debate is had on the possible health risks of having so many radio waves flying around our seats of learning, reports the Tottenham Journal.

No councillors were more open or honest than Labour’s Emma Jones who said "I, quite frankly, think we are frying children’s brains. I’m really worried we going to wake up in 20 years with serious problems."

A more moderate assessment came from the head of a group lobbying to remove Wi-Fi from schools, Sarah Purdey. "We really don’t know what we are doing to them," she conceded.
