Asus quick to launch 2900XT card

ASUS has released the snappily named EAH 2900XT/G/HTVDI/512M, based around the brand new Radeon HD2900XT GPU, which is designed to unleash the gaming power of DirectX 10 with an excellent audio/video experience through HDMI and Avivo HD technology.

The release will come bundled with four game titles which include the highly anticipated first person shooter game S.T.A.L.K.E.R: Shadows of Chernobyl, and Valve’s ‘The Black Box’ game bundle suite – consisting of: Half Life 2: Episode Two, Team Fortress 2 and Portal.

The ASUS EAH2900XT series also incorporates Splendid Video Intelligence Technology, an exclusive feature found only on ASUS solutions. With Splendid, images enabled by ASUS graphics cards are apparently fine-tuned to deliver vibrant visual representations in conditions most favorable to the human eye. Splendid also works on top of AMD’s Avivo HD technology to offer sharp decoded videos.

Besides being bundled together with the latest games, the ASUS EAH2900XT also includes the exclusive ASUS Gamer OSD. This feature is able to deliver on-the-spot overclocking and chat options during gameplay – allowing users real-time performance upgrades when they require it.
