GoTo and Acronis form partnership to strengthen endpoint management and data protection

GoTo, a leader in cloud communications and IT, and Acronis, a global cybersecurity and data protection provider, have formed a strategic partnership to enhance endpoint management and security for Managed Service Providers (MSPs) and small to mid-sized enterprises (SMEs). The collaboration introduces the LogMeIn Data Protection Suite powered by Acronis, designed to streamline endpoint management, protection, and recovery.

The suite integrates LogMeIn Resolve’s unified endpoint management (UEM) capabilities with Acronis’ business continuity and disaster recovery (BCDR) tools, enabling IT teams to consolidate and strengthen their endpoint security strategies. The partnership also extends LogMeIn Practical AI capabilities to Acronis’ data and tool ecosystem.

Joseph George, general manager of IT solutions Group at GoTo, highlighted the importance of addressing fragmented IT environments. “Lack of integration can lead to missed backups, inconsistent policies, and delayed recovery responses,” said George. “Our partnership with Acronis tackles these challenges by delivering a connected, scalable experience that reduces risk, complexity, and response time.”

Key features:

  • Unified Management Console: Streamlines endpoint management, backup scheduling, and agent deployment.
  • Customisable Enrolment: Supports file-level, disk-level, image, and application backups tailored to organisational needs.
  • Automated Scheduling: Policy-driven controls allow for flexible backup timing and frequency.
  • Expanded Coverage: Enables backup of Google Workspace and Microsoft 365 SaaS environments.
  • One-Click Rapid Recovery: Provides instant restoration from historical backup snapshots to minimise downtime.
  • Optimised for MSPs: Designed for multi-tenant environments to ensure scalability.

Additionally, Acronis customers will benefit from native integration within LogMeIn Resolve, simplifying backup enrolment and recovery workflows. Fernanda Silva, Senior Alliances Manager at Acronis, emphasised the significance of the collaboration: “This partnership is about solving real-world challenges MSPs and IT professionals face daily.”
