ibi, a scalable data and analytics software platform that makes data easy to access and analytics easy to consume, has released ibi WebFOCUS 9.2. It features exposed analytics via white-labelling functionality and updates to ibi WebFOCUS Designer and ibi WebFOCUS – Container Edition. These features allow users across the enterprise to explore, create, collaborate, and publish their analytic content with heightened efficiency.
“Our new WebFOCUS features are a milestone in ibi’s mission to enable our customers in making data-driven decisions across the enterprise. Our users can continue building at-scale BI applications to serve mission-critical components in their enterprises,” said Ali Ahmed, general manager, ibi, a business unit of Cloud Software Group. “These features are meant to further streamline and personalise the user experience to ensure they can focus on what matters: enabling the discovery of insights and faster, smarter decision making through the enterprise.”
WebFOCUS is an enterprise business intelligence and analytics solution equipped with data management, visual discovery, predictive analytics, and powerful visualisations. Combining these capabilities and data science in one unified platform, the features in this release allow developers to create crucial components of their deployments with increased efficiency.
The key areas of development in the latest version of WebFOCUS include:
- WebFOCUS – White-Labeling feature provides platform-wide and centralised capabilities for organisations to broaden their brand, save time and money, and speed time-to-market for their applications via WebFOCUS.
- WebFOCUS Designer now supports document mode, interactions, and filter expressions. Document mode, a new canvas within WebFOCUS Designer, makes it easy to create customised layouts and distribute in different standard formats like PDF or HTML.
- WebFOCUS – Container Edition now delivers more seamless auto-scaling and remains cloud-agnostic, while bringing the speed and ease of Kubernetes to support hybrid clouds.
“The new White-Labelling feature capabilities in WebFOCUS 9.2 provide tremendous value to GE Digital, allowing us to configure the solution to be more industry diagnostic to the customers we serve,” said Jolene Wolf, senior director, product management, GE Digital. “In addition, it provides the opportunity to use our own branding that provides our users a seamless workflow experience.”
